Ossa Academy is for podcasters who are committed to taking their podcast to the next level. We are looking for applicants that have the following goals:

· Growing your listener base & improving your KPIs

· Leveraging your podcast to empower & educate others

· Building meaningful relationships with your audience

· Learning new podcasting tools & techniques 


Ossa Academy is a free, 7-week virtual program for experienced podcasters who are committed to upleveling every aspect of their podcasting experience. 

The program runs from June 17, 2021 to August 2, 2021 with an estimated online time commitment of approximately [3] hours per week. (However, you should be sure to set aside extra time each week to apply the information you learn in the weekly sessions to your podcast & to network and collaborate with your fellow participants!) 

Virtual weekly sessions are held on [day of the week] from [start time – end time + time zone]. All sessions will be recorded & shared with program participants.

Sharon Taylor

With more than 13 years of experience in the technology space, Sharon Taylor joined Triton Digital in 2019 through Triton's acquisition of podcast technology company, Omny Studio. Having worked closely with Triton since 2016 in her role as CEO, Sharon grew Omny Studio into one of the leading audio on-demand hosting and publishing platforms in the world. Today, as Managing Director at Triton Digital, Sharon remains at the helm of Omny, responsible for guiding the podcast development strategy for the company, in addition to leading the continuous advancement of the Omny Studio platform, maximizing its utility for both radio and podcast clients. Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and resides in Australia.

Alban Brooke

Alban Brooke is a former lawyer and the Head of Marketing at Buzzsprout, one of the largest podcast hosts in the world. Since 2014, he has helped over 100,000 people launch their own podcasts through Buzzsprout. He co-hosts two podcasts “How to Start a Podcast” and "Buzzcast." He lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida with his wife and daughter.

Gesche Haas

Gesche Haas is an entrepreneur, investor, mentor, and advisor who is the Founder/CEO of Dreamers & Doers, a private collective that amplifies the entrepreneurial pursuits of extraordinary women through thought leadership opportunities, authentic connection, and access. Dreamers & Doers has built a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem of over 33K women globally.

Jessica Kupferman

Jessica Kupferman is the co-host and co-founder of the She Podcasts brand, which currently supports over 14,000 female podcasters and has a digital marketing reach of over 55,000 content creators. Her sweet spot is helping podcasters set up systems for growth and training them on how to obtain sponsorship. She also is an internet “Bat Girl” with an odd amount of experience in way too many software services. When she's not planning the next She Podcasts LIVE, you can find her offering education to independent podcasters on marketing, growth, and sponsorship.

Dave Keine

Dave Keine is the Head of Product & Marketing at Podchaser, where he oversees platform direction and is entrenched in the podcast community, focusing on powering podcast discovery. Prior to Podchaser, he founded Triangle Content, a podcast production company that amassed more than 2 million downloads in its first year of existence. He's worked in all parts of podcasting, from marketing and sales to creative and production. He has also been an advertising agency creative director working with Fortune 500 brands.

Karo Chakhlasyan

Karo Chakhlasyan is the COO of Chartable. Chartable's podcast analytics and attribution tools help publishers grow, and help brands & agencies understand their spend. Karo started in podcasting overseeing podcast campaigns for clients like 23andMe, MeUndies, and ZipRecruiter at Oxford Road. He was most recently the Vice President of Audience Acquisition at Wondery where he developed and executed marketing strategies. During his tenure, Wondery launched thirteen #1 shows on Apple Podcasts, reaching millions of listeners worldwide. When Karo is not in the office, you're likely to find him taking care of his cactuses.

Caitlin Van Horn

Caitlin Van Horn is currently the Sr. Manager, Podcast Marketing at AdsWizz, a SiriusXM-Pandora company. A full-stack marketer with a background in audience development, Caitlin has grown passionate communities for CPG companies, women's lifestyle publications, and podcasters of all sizes.

Ryan Rose

Ryan Rose is the founder of JoneKiri, a full service media agency that specializes in omnichannel content monetization. Ryan is the former U.S. head of Strategy and Business Development of Digital Ad Exchange (DAX), the digital division of Europe’s largest commercial radio company, Global Media & Entertainment, where he built their podcast division. With a background from Horizon Media, the world’s largest private advertising agency, Ryan works with agencies and brands of all sizes and categories to facilitate a matchmaking service with actors, athletes, content producers, entrepreneurs, executives, writers, and more.

JJ Ramberg

After hosting programs on BBC, NBC, and her own podcast, JJ Ramberg and her brother built an empire with Goodshop, an online coupon site which has donated over $13 million to charity. They moved over to the podcasting world with their podcast recommendation service, Goodpods, so no one ever has to ask the question, "What should I listen to next?" securing partners like Kim Kardashian, Katie Couric, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Rita Bautista

As founder and CEO of the Latina Podcasters Network, Bautista connects aspiring and established Mujeres Latinas y Latinx Podcasters to global audiences and brands for monetization opportunities. Because she is bold and innovative she was responsible for hosting the first Latina Podcasters meetup at any podcast convention. Her passion and love for the podcasting industry came in 2019 when she launched her first podcast, now called Empodera Latina Podcast. This podcast was dedicated solely to empowering women by delivering motivational interviews and episodes. Her desire to keep growing in the podcast community and find cultural relevancy was the driving force to develop Latina Podcasters Network.

Sandy Thompson

Sandy has been working in the advertising world for over 25 years building businesses and driving brand growth. She is regarded as one of the most innovative and productive strategists, working with her clients to help them find their voice, understand their purpose and build lasting relationships with their customers. Building a brand is so much more than just telling people who you are and what you offer. It is about understanding how your consumer wants to feel and the role that you can play in their lives.

Sara Khadar

Sara Khadar is a Creative Director working in the advertising/marketing space for the past 15 years, working in Milan, New York City and now currently in Los Angeles. She is currently the Brand Creative Director at Oprah Winfrey Network and the founder of LVTD Group, a creative group specializing in experiential and event marketing, content driven design and content creation.

Amy Wilson and Margaret Ables

Margaret Ables and Amy Wilson, are comedians, mothers, and hosts of the podcast What Fresh Hell: Laughing in the Face of Motherhood. What Fresh Hell regularly ranks at the top of the Parenting and Kids and Family charts on Apple Podcasts, and has over three million lifetime downloads. In each episode Margaret and Amy discuss a parenting topic from their usually-completely opposite perspectives.


Ossa [“AH-sah”] is a womxn’s podcast network on a mission to increase the visibility, influence & earning power of womxn in the podcast industry.

Podcasting is already a powerful communication platform with incredible reach and influence, but we have only scratched the surface of its potential impact.

Our podcast network is built on the conviction that podcasting has the power to elevate underrepresented voices on a global scale.
