Big Announcement! Like A Boss Girls Has Relaunched as Ossa!

We are excited to announce that Like A Boss Girls is now Ossa Collective! (But you can just call us “Ossa”.)

If you’re new to our website, Ossa [pronounced Ah-sah], was previously known as Like A Boss Girls — a women’s empowerment network with inspiration, information and resources for living your best life. We are so grateful to our community, which has grown to a network of over 1.2 million people.

Same Mission, New Addition

Ossa is the next iteration of our mission to empower women. Picking up where Like A Boss Girls left off, Ossa will continue to provide a platform that facilitates increased representation for women in positions of power and influence. What sets Ossa apart is the addition of a new extension for empowerment: women in podcasting.

In addition to the fabulous content on our existing platform and social media channels, we have added an in-house podcast network that gives our community another channel for amplification.

For podcasters, Ossa offers a user-friendly way to earn money from your podcast by becoming part of our ad booking platform. We also connect our members to a community of women in podcasting and exclusive access to tools and resources that will help you take your podcast to the next level.

For business owners, Ossa provides a personalized connection to the world’s most powerful consumers. As a woman-focused ad booking platform, we can help your business make a meaningful connection with your target audience.

For the entire Ossa community, we offer a connection to one-of-a-kind resources and a community of kickass women with strong and inspiring messages that will help you elevate your life and your work.

Why Is Podcasting Important?

Podcasting is an effective means to empowerment because its explosive popularity makes it a tool for getting your message heard by thousands, or even millions, of people. An estimated 32 percent of the U.S. population (12+), or 90 million people, reported that they had listened to a podcast in the past month, and there are over 700,000 podcasts on iTunes alone, an increase from 550,000 in 2018.

However, the podcasting business still has a disproportionate amount of power and influence in the hands of men. For example, of the most successful podcasts in the iTunes Top 100, just 1/3 feature a woman host or co-host.

We created Ossa to bridge the gender gap in podcasting. We are on a mission to use this growing communication platform as a way for women to increase their power and influence in society.

This is the new Ossa:
