Sisters Amy and Nancy Harrington built their careers in Hollywood, interviewing A-list celebrities and covering all things pop culture. However, in recent years, the sisters found a new source of inspiration in the #MeToo movement and Time’s Up campaign. They decided to channel their shared gift for leading meaningful and influential conversations into building their own movement for women’s empowerment: The Passionistas Project.
On The Passionistas Project Podcast (listen on Apple Podcasts and Spotify), Amy and Nancy share positive stories of strong, empowered and passionate women from all disciplines and walks of life. Their mission is to inspire women of all ages to pursue their dreams, overcome obstacles and take charge of their own destinies.
Prior to launching The Passionistas Project, Amy rose through the ranks to become a senior executive at Warner Brothers, overseeing the special effects editing and sound teams on all Warner Brothers movies. Nancy ran her own successful graphic design company, producing Academy Awards campaigns for Paramount Classics and Miramax. The sisters first joined forces as the Pop Culture Passionistas, conducting celebrity interviews and producing positive entertainment content that was picked up by many major media outlets.
