On this week’s episode of Mind of a Mentor, we have Janet Allison and Jennifer Fink, co-hosts of the podcast ON BOYS: Real Talk About Parenting, Teaching & Reaching Tomorrow’s Men.
Janet Allison is a mother, educator, family coach, author, speaker, and podcaster. After earning her Elementary Education degree, Janet Allison began a teaching career and quickly noticed differences in the learning styles that worked best for the boys versus the girls in her class.
Through trial and error, extensive reading and research, and sheer determination, Janet developed teaching methods that she found to be more successful with her male students. Today, she shares her methods with other teachers in public and private schools.
Janet is an author, educator, and Family Coach. She is a regularly featured parenting expert on KXL101, and a recent guest on Oregon Public Radio, Boise Public Radio, and on Today in Nashville along with virtual educational summits.
