Sara Bamossy and Marisstella Marinkovic are co-CEOs of the Los Angeles-based, full-service advertising agency, Pitch. The two women originally became known as an advertising power duo during their seven years working side by side at ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi. Together, Sara and Marisstella produced wildly successful campaigns that received coveted awards from Cannes Lions, the Effies, and Jay Chiat.
Prior to their recent reunion at Pitch, Sara and Marisstella had independently left Saatchi & Saatchi on a different course: Sara moved into a role as Pitch’s Chief Strategy Officer, and Marisstella became Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Innocean USA. Despite their time working apart, their compatibility as advertising teammates was never forgotten.
The magic behind the pairing of Pitch co-CEOs Sara and Marisstella is likely built on the unique knowledge and experience that each woman brings to the table. As a 15+ year ad agency veteran, Sara is an expert on consumer behavior, strategy, and creativity who has been featured in publications like Ad Age, Business Insider, and Forbes. In 2017, she was named one of The Internationalist’s Innovators of the Year. Marisstella has over 25 years of industry experience building out digital strategies, retail solutions, and award-winning campaigns for global brands. In addition to earning Cannes Lion and Effie awards, she has also earned accolades at the Clio Awards, The One Show, and the New York Film Festival.
