Production Camp Terms of Service

Terms and Conditions for Participation in Ossa Production Camp 2022

  1. Successful candidates will be required to participate in person on March 21st and March 22nd, 2022 at our location in Santa Monica, CA.
  2. Once you have been accepted, we will require a credit card for authorization for $1000. Should you cancel prior to the event and a replacement is not found, you will be charged $1000. Should you not attend in person, you will be charged a $1000 fee (unless reasons are COVID related, in which case proof will be required).
  3. If you are participating in the camp, you will be required to adhere to COVID policies:
    1. You must provide proof of full vaccination
    2. Participants are required to provide proof of a negative test 24 hours prior to the event, or a negative rapid test on-site
    3. Wear a mask for the duration of the camp
  4. As a participant, you acknowledge that you will be working as part of a group and expected to participate as a team player.
  5. The Ossa production camp is an interactive workshop that is creating branded content on behalf of a sponsor. You acknowledge that the content created throughout the production camp is owned by Ossa and the sponsor.
  6. You acknowledge that to the best of your knowledge, you have the required skill level to be able to participate effectively in the camp.
  7. You understand and agree to participate in at least 4 virtual team meetings prior to the camp. If you are unable to attend, you will participate as required to make up for missed time.
  8. I understand that the purpose of the Ossa production camp is to provide me with new skills and networking opportunities that will contribute to my podcasting experience. 
  9. I understand that participating in the camp as an individual and that I am not an employee of Ossa.
  10. I am over 18 years of age.
  11. Travel and accommodation is not included in the camp. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs associated with participating.
  12. I understand that the following is included in the camp:
    1. Access to studios and equipment to execute effectively
    2. Mentorship and learning opportunities
    3. Breakfast, lunch and snacks
  13. Communication policies require you to communicate effectively around your participation including, but not limited to, if you cannot attend all or some of the camp or camp-related activities.
  14. You have an active podcast or seasonal podcast that is currently on hiatus.
  15. You are an Ossa Member (if you are not a member, you are required to sign up for Ossa membership prior to the start of camp).
  16. Adhere to community guidelines: The Ossa community is a safe space for collaboration, support, and lifting each other up. Treat others as you would treat yourself. Harassment, hate speech, or violent language will not be tolerated.
  17. Identify as a woman+ in order to apply. 
  18. If you apply as co-hosts of a podcast, only one co-host can attend.
  19. Ossa reserves the right to use all materials and assets produced during the camp for marketing purposes.
